Most gas barbecues, camping grills, and picnic stoves work off Patio Gas Cylinders.
Exceptions include some portable gas BBQs which will work with a disposable gas cartridge. Cylinder conversion kits are usually available as an option.
The vast majority of gas BBQs are supplied with a standard length of hose and patio gas regulator. Please check the description of each BBQ to make sure it is included. Notable exceptions would be Cadac BBQs, picnic & camping stoves – a hose and regulator would need to be purchased in addition.
Solution #1: The Universal BBQ Kit (for Patio Gas Cylinders only)
The Calor Universal BBQ Kit is a complete universal BBQ kit that includes a 1m x 8mm hose, 1 Patio Gas clip-on regulator, 1 x 5/8" UNF fitting and 1 x 1/4" LH BBQ fitting.
Please note that this kit can only be used with Patio Gas Cylinders.

- The regulator for Campingaz cylinders is the Campingaz 29 mbar Low-Pressure Butane Gas Regulator
- The regulator for a standard UK butane gas cylinder is the Calor 21mm Low-Pressure Butane Clip On Gas Regulator
- The regulator for a standard UK propane gas cylinder is the Calor 1.5kg Propane Low-Pressure Screw On Gas Regulator
With it, you would need one of the following kits:
